Power of Attorney

A Power of Attorney allows the appointment of an individual to act in your place relative to financial matters and other day to day affairs. It can be effective either immediately or upon your incapacitation. Having a well-crafted Power of Attorney in place will alleviate the need for your loved ones to petition the Probate and Family Court for guardianship in the event you become incapacitated or unable to manage your day-to-day affairs. A Power of Attorney can remain in effect until it is revoked or upon one’s death.

The attorneys at Tansley | Halloran can assess your needs and draft an individually tailored Power of Attorney.
